VOLLEYBALL

Mr. Rafferty,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to extend my heartfelt praise and appreciation for the exceptional behavior demonstrated by the volleyball team and their coach.

During their game vs RS/ODY last night there were multiple balls hit towards the stands which involved parents/fans/administrators reaching out to return the ball to your players and each one was met with a mature eye contact and "Thank you". I can't recall one of the girls not smiling while doing so. There was also a play within a close game where the official missed a ball going around the pole (out of bounds) where the ODY/RS coach questioned the path of the ball and when the official looked to your coach she immediately confirmed the ball went out of play costing her team a point but showing a level of integrity that I thought had been lost over the past few years.

The volleyball team not only excelled in their athletic performance but also displayed their strong moral character. The coach's dedication to instilling values of respect, teamwork, and courtesy is evident in the team's demeanor and actions.

Please convey my gratitude and admiration to the entire team and coaching staff for their exemplary sportsmanship and the positive example they set for everyone. You should be proud of these girls as they are a shining example of why school sports are critical to the production of well rounded adults.

Warmest regards,

Brendon Harris
